"Capturing the individual spirit of each breed is my passion."
10 years ago, an innocuous drawing during an anatomy class started a revolution - a revolution in dog jewelry.
At the time, I was obsessed with Bouvier des Flandres... more specifically, the distinct profile of bouvier heads. I began sketching them while daydreaming in class and soon the drawings began to get noticed. After enough comments and some soul-searching, I decided they'd make fantastic jewelry, so I began to refine each design and delve into the fascinating world of jewelry, which is how I found my second love, jewelry design and fabrication.
And here I am, 10 years later, doing what I love. I get to study intriguing dog breeds, from aussies to yorkshire terriers and create jewelry that every owner can cherish for a lifetime.
As well as sculpting jewelry dogs , I'm also involved with real dogs. I have been a professional groomer since 1995, first as a pet stylist and then as a show groomer. I'm the single mother of three unlikely children: a champion Black Russian Terrier and two mischievous rescue Italian Greyhounds. I am a member of the Black Russian Terrier Club of America and a volunteer and foster parent for Italian Greyhound rescue in Colorado.
